Song of the day: David Archuleta-Crush

I have news!  I’ll give the bad news first.  My boyfriend recently lost his job so financially things are going to be very tight for awhile.  I have had a reseller for the past two years with Surpass but now more than ever, I can’t keep spending money on it each month so I had to cancel it.  The good news?  Jon from Kinohost is hosting me and all my other sites until their plans run out.  He is like my guardian angel right now, let me tell you!  Please go and visit his website if you’re looking to purchase website hosting! <3

It's weird having my boyfriend home all the time.  He's turning into a very domesticated male, our house has never been so clean and it's nice not having to do so much house work.  His job was very physical so he could only really help out on weekends but now that he’s here all the time, he has more energy to do stuff.  I wish it was like this all the time!  But we both know that him getting a new job is the priority so we’ve been keeping our fingers crossed.

As for me, my jobs been going excellent.  I’ve been nervous at times approaching customers because I don’t want to hassle them.  But now I do it without blinking and I’ve turned into a friendly non-annoying person who tries to help them shop.  If they don’t buy anything, it doesn’t matter to me.  It’s important that one, my boss knows that I’m doing my job and two, that the customer knows that I’m doing my job.  Sure there’s things that annoy me there that I’m sure everyone can relate to, but I look forward to going into work.

The drunk men that stumble into our store sure are amusing.  We were talking to this one man the other night who looked like the guy who plays Stuart on MadTV.  He tried to rub my arm and then he goes, “You have nice arms” and then sort of swayed from side to side to keep his balance.  I don’t get offended with stuff like that.  But then later on, he got worse and leaned down to touch another employees breasts.  THAT’S when security got involved and had to escort the guy out of the store.  Even after that he was still talking about my co-worker and kept saying she was a “gift from God!”  But at least we know that security has got our back!

Hi! I know this is the most random comment ever, but I love your the name of your domain. It’s cute and creative and I’m sorry to hear that you’re unable to host it yourself at the moment. I hope everything works out!

If I knew if I could host domains, I’ll host you, but I have no idea whether I can do that or not. I’m totally new to the whole domain thing, despite having a website for years. If you happen to have any tips, let me know!

Anyway, I’ll be sure to be stopping by your site every now and then.

Sorry that your boyfriend lost his job, but maybe it is a blessing in disguise and he will find a job that he enjoys more and gets paid more for doing? Or am I just being sickly positive and you just want me to gtfo? -shrugs-

I am assuming you work in retail by the sounds of it. I do too, I find it easy asking people if they want any help, the only time I hesitate is if someone else is on my section with me as they might have already asked. I know that when I am shopping and I walk from one side of store to the other and get asked by all the sales assistants in the that store if I need any help, it drives me bananas.

What are you going to do when the hosting runs out?

I always hated when people would jump on you as soon as you walk into a store. I know some people won’t speak up when they need help, but others will come find you if they need you.

But it’s a good thing that you’ve found a way that isn’t bombarding the customers.
