Hee, I’m so excited.  I bought my very first car last Wednesday, after my boyfriend’s other car was finally “put down” after years of it running like crap.  I can’t say that I wasn’t fond of that old Buick, but there was no way that it was going to pass inspection at the end of this month.  So I found a car, got financing (from a perverted loan agent who kept telling me that I smelled like Chanel) and voila!  I feel strangely liberated since this happened.  Usually with anything in my life, I never seem to achieve what I want.  So thankfully after years of good credit, I finally got my dream car.

Which for dream car’s sake, it’s not the most sporty or flashy car.  But it’s the car I always wanted.  It’s a 2000 VW Jetta which came with tan leather seats and a sunroof to boot.  The boyfriend already installed my cd player too so I’ve just been enjoying my time driving it all over town like a huge dork.  But I don’t care! 

Other than that, I’ve just been enjoying my summer. Er, well trying to. It’s been raining for two weeks straight now! Even when we have somewhat sunny days, thunderous rain clouds loom overhead. I was hoping to work on my suntan this summer but as of late, it hasn’t been warm enough to do so.

Work’s been going great too. We hired a few new associates and they’ve fit in nicely with the rest of us. We had two girls quit the past few weeks so these news girls are like a breath of fresh air from the ~drama hungry~ ones we had before. I don’t get it. People in so many parts of our country are DYING for any kind of job to support their families. We hire people and they just quit without a second glance. Kinda makes you want to punch them in the face sometimes.
